Puff Flower 6 inch block

Materials: 1oz Worsted Weight yarn, hook G (4.5 mm)
Finished size: 6" (16 cm)
Puff stitch: Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch and pull up a 3/4' loop 5 times, Yarn over and draw through all 11 loops on hook, chain 1 to close
Start with 8 chains, slipstitch into first chain to form a ring
1. *Puff stitch in ring, chain 1* 8 times; join with slipstitch in first puff. (8 puffs).
2. Chain 3, 6 triple crochet in the next chain 1 space, * 2 double crochet in the next chain 1 space, 7 triple crochet in the next chain 1 space, * 3 times, 2 double crochet in the last chain 1 space, join with slipstitch to chain 3.
3. Chain 2, double crochet in the next stitch, 2 double crochet in the next stitch, chain 1, *puff in next stitch, chain 1, 2 double crochet in the next stitch, double crochet in the next 6 stitches, 2 double crochet in the next stitch, chain 1, * 3 times, puff in next stitch, chain 1, 2 double crochet in the next stitch, double crochet in the last 4 stitches, join with slipstitch to chain 2.
4. Chain 2, double crochet in the next 3 stitches *puff in chain 1space, 2 double crochet, triple crochet, 2 double crochet, in the puff stitch, puff in chain 1 space, double crochet in the next 10 stitches, * 3 times, puff in chain 1space, 2 double crochet, triple crochet, 2 double crochet, in the puff stitch, puff in chain 1 space, double crochet in the last 6 stitches, join with slipstitch to chain 2.
5. Chain 2, double crochet in the next 6 stitches, * 4 double crochet in corner triple crochet, double crochet in the next 16 stitches, *3 times, 4 double crochet in corner triple crochet, double crochet in the last 9 stitches, join with slipstitch to chain 2. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
