Materials: Crochet hook size H

Finished size: 6"

Using an H hook, chain (ch) 25.

Make the foundation row by Single Crocheting (sc) in the 2nd ch from the hook and into each stitch (st) across—24 sc.

Ch 1 and turn.

Sc in the very first st.

Now make a trinity by doing the following:

1. Inserting the hook into the same st as the sc you just made and pulling up a loop—there should be 2 loops on your hook.

2. Now insert the hook into the next sc in the row and pull up a loop—there will be three loops on your hook.

3. Insert the hook one more time to the next sc in the row and pull up another loop—you will now have 4 loops on your hook.

4. Yarn over (yo) and pull through all 4 loops on your hook and then “close” it with a sc—first trinity made.

Repeat these steps across the row by inserting your hook into the same stitch of your first finished Trinity.  You should get about 12 Trinity stitches along the row and be left with one sc at the end of the row.

Sc in the last st.

Ch 1 and turn.

Continue the pattern until the block measures 6”.

Finish off.

Note:  If your yarn is a bit thinner and your block is just a bit smaller than 6”, you may add a sc frame around it to make it 6” then finish it off.
