Materials Needed: 2 skeins of thin baby yarn or 1 skein of chunky yarn, and a K hook
NOTE: Hat is worked holding 2 strand of
yarn at the same time or 1 strand of chunky yarn. All stitch counts include the starting chain as a stitch.

Chain 4, join with a slip
stitch to form a ring
Round 1 - chain 3, work 17 double crochets in the ring join with a slip stitch to the top of chain 2
Round
2 - chain 3, (2 double crochets in next stitch) repeat around join with a slip stitch to the top of chain 2
Round 3-8 - chain
2, half double crochet in every stitch around, join with a slip stitch to the top of chain 2
Round 9 - chain 1, single crochet
in FRONT LOOP ONLY of each stitch around, join with a slip stitch to the top of chain 1
Round 10 - chain 1, (single crochet in next stitch, chain 3) repeat this around joining with a slip stitch to the top of chain 1. Fasten off.
